Iceband Terms

Last updated October 15, 2026

Iceband is a free, non-commercial browser game, an unofficial fan project. These terms are the rules for playing it and for having an Iceband account. By playing or creating an account, you agree to them. “We” means the person who runs Iceband.

The short version

Accounts

Player names and conduct

Player names are shown to other players, and so are your characters’ names on the leaderboards. Names must not:

Some player names are reserved, such as ones that would pass for the game’s staff. You can change your player name once a week.

You can report a leaderboard entry that breaks these rules. Reports go to our moderators, and the player you report doesn’t see who sent it. Don’t send false or abusive reports.

We may clear a player name that breaks these rules (you then choose a new one), hide leaderboard entries, bar accounts from the leaderboards, and suspend or close accounts that break them, without notice when needed.

Fair play

Leaderboards only mean something if everyone plays the same game. Don’t:

We may remove scores and close accounts that break these rules. Leaderboard runs may be checked by replaying them.

Using the site

Don’t attack, overload or probe the site or its services, get around its security or limits, or use it to collect information about other players.
